A New Week, A New Year: Embrace Change with Confidence
As we begin this week and welcome a fresh day, let’s explore the concept of Guidance.
As we embark on this new journey—whether it's a new day, week, or month—it's essential to seek guidance, whether it comes from a family member, a mentor, or, ideally, from God. Even if you have doubts about Him, take a moment to look around you. Who do you think created everything that exists? The world didn't just appear out of nowhere; it took time and intention. According to Genesis 1:1-31 and 2:1-4, it took seven days to create the universe, with rest on the seventh day. While reflecting on this, you'll recognize that life comes with its highs and lows, just as everything around us does. In the journey of life, we need guidance in many areas: learning, finding inspiration, exploring new ideas, and determining our path forward. Even though people on Earth are knowledgeable and wise, it's God who provides the ultimate guidance to navigate life. His lessons are not merely earthly—they are profound truths. Humans can falter, but God remains steadfast. While others may lead you astray, God will guide you back to your purpose. It’s normal to feel intimidated, scared, or uncomfortable when stepping out of your comfort zone. God encourages us to grow, to share, to love, and to fulfill the unique purpose we each hold on this planet. Take a moment today to pause and reflect on the areas in your life where you seek guidance. You might consider jotting these down and taking small steps towards change in 2026. I share this message with you because it resonates with me, too. God offers the best guidance; His way far exceeds our own understanding. If you're skeptical, I encourage you to give it a try. Don’t be discouraged if things don’t unfold as you envisioned; remember that pain, struggles, and challenges serve a purpose. Stand firm, and in time, you will understand why you faced these trials. Trust in the good that lies ahead, even if it doesn't align with your expectations. Lean on God and His guidance, even when it seems unclear, both in the moment and for years to come. His way is indeed better, and in every moment and season of our lives, we are meant to learn, find inspiration, and explore something profound.
