Let’s take a moment to thank the Lord for another day to make things better—because, let’s be real, time isn’t guaranteed! Today, we’re diving into our minds and finding that quiet space within ourselves in L.I.F.E.!

 

How do we approach our thoughts and words in life? Are we speaking positivity into ourselves, our friends, our spouses, our children, and those around us? or are we allowing negativity to dominate our self-talk and conversations with others?

 

When you speak negatively to yourself, you are, in essence, speaking that way to God—your Creator. Remember,

Bible Verse: Genesis 1:27 (NLT)

says, "So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God, He created them; male and female He created them."

By embracing negativity, you give power to the enemy instead of uplifting yourself and those around you. None of us are perfect. We all make mistakes daily, which is why we must repent—even for the small sins we might overlook. God is the way, the truth, and the life. He is our hope and the only path to salvation, sparing us from eternal separation from Him.

 

Every day you wake up is a blessing—an opportunity to grow, to improve, and to turn away from old habits. It’s not always easy, and it requires sacrifice. Jesus reminds us with the

Bible Verse: Luke 9:23-27 (NLT):

"If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when He returns in His glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels. I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God."

 

Embrace each day as a chance to follow Him more closely, to speak life and positivity, and to reflect His love in all you do.

 

The enemy works tirelessly to infiltrate our minds, sowing seeds of doubt and insecurity. This is why, last week, we discussed the importance of creating a strong foundation in our homes and practicing self-discipline. The enemy tries to convince us that we are not enough—be it in beauty, talent, or worth—filling us with shame and making us feel undeserving of love, comfort, joy, and happiness. But we must remember to surrender these worries, sins, and fears to God every single day. Trust Him with your life.

Each day, we need to speak truth into our lives. For believers, this means turning to His word, the ultimate source of truth and strength. For others, positive affirmations can help, but in my view, nothing compares to the power of God's word.

Open your heart and let Him guide your L.I.F.E.

 

I’m just like you—I fall short and make mistakes every day. As a stay-at-home mom of four who homeschools, there are moments when I feel like I can’t go on. It’s in those moments that I turn to my Heavenly Father, asking for His strength and thanking Him even for the challenges. Those difficult moments teach us and shape us because He is a loving Father—one who prunes, molds, nurtures, comforts, teaches, and is unfailingly faithful, merciful, and gracious. No matter what we face, He will never leave us or forsake us.

Even in pain and undeserved hardships, there’s a purpose. One day, you’ll see why you endured what you did. God has a way of using every situation, even the bad, to bring about good. In His perfect timing, you will regain your joy, peace, and so much more.

Choose forgiveness, and trust that He is with you through every trial in L.I.F.E.
